At least that’s what the poster advertising the 25th Separate Company Armory’s open house in 1913 said. The armory was showing off a new swimming pool, mess hall, kitchen and bath rooms. It was a happening place. About 96 years later, you could argue we’re about to host a similar event…just with a little twist.
On Sunday, Nov. 22 from 1 to 4 pm the Tonawanda Castle will open its doors to the community and invite people to share their memories of this historic building with our staff. Tours of the restored armory will go on the half-hour and light refreshments will be served in our Grand Ball Room. By sharing your memories of this building, you will help us preserve the armory’s magnificent historical legacy. Please feel free to contact us with any questions at (716) 743-8544.
