“Movie Stars” at the Castle…

A quick scan of our blog indicates our former armory has a rich and powerful history. This building was an important part of our local community – a historical landmark with stories that chronicle over 100 years of history.

In an effort to preserve this history and showcase what “phase two” of life for New York State’s historical armories can look like, we’re putting together a mini-documentary with the help of local filmmaker Paul Hage. In fact on Friday night, Paul and his crew had the opportunity to film a holiday party at the Castle.  The guests (aka “movie stars”) mingled on all three floors and listened to live music by the band Mirage (http://www.themirageband.com/).

Stay tuned for more info on the mini-documentary…
